Haysen Weir is an intuitive Esalen Massage and Integrated Neuromuscular therapist, whose philosophy of bringing forth a connection of light through the body helps create a healing response that releases physical and emotional pain. While Swedish massage is localized to working one area of the body at a time, Esalen massage works on the whole body in one long flowing stroke.

Integrated Neuromuscular therapy treatments enable Haysen to locate and target trigger points that hide deep in tissues and often refer pain to other locations in the body. Integrated Neuromuscular therapy is an excellent way to treat the conditions caused by an injury or any acute or chronic pain.

Haysen's unique combination of Esalen Massage and Integrated Neuromuscular therapy gives her excellent choices when working with people who suffer from chronic back and neck pain, high blood pressure, insomnia, and excess stress – as well as those who simply want to relax. The many benefits from her therapies include:

  • Feeling reconnected
  • Straightening posture
  • Relief from pain
  • Relief from trauma

People suffering from the discomforts of scoliosis (curvature of the spine), kyphosis (curvature of the upper spine), and lordosis (swayback) have found releif with Haysen's treatments.

Haysen believes that the body heals itself through “…connecting and through touch... affirming that healing actually takes place within the body, mind, and spirit.” One of her favorite quotes comes from one of her teachers: “It is an honor to lay hands on another human being.”

Haysen Weir initially learned full body massage at the Baltimore Holistic Healing Center, and later continued her training at Dr. Jay Scherer’s Academy of Natural Healing where she learned Esalen Massage, and later Integrated Neuromuscular Therapy. She has completed first degree Reiki training, Core work with Phyllis Braun at the Scherer Institute, and special studies in Head, Neck and TMJ dysfunction.
